Happy Adoption Day!

Each year we celebrate Haddon's Adoption Day--the day he was "officially" adopted as recognized by the state of Texas on March 3, 2006. He was adopted into our hearts the day he was born (and months before that as we awaited his arrival). But it gives us another special day in the year to celebrate him in addition to his birthday. A way to celebrate the blessing of Haddon and the way the Lord has molded our family together. Not to mention a wonderful reminder of how, as Christians, we are all adopted as children of God!

On tuesday we looked at pictures of the day he was born and each adoption day we've celebrated so far...most of which involved playing arcade games:) (1st year at Chuck E Cheese and 3rd + 4th year at the mall arcade here in Bangalore)

Our friend Sini made an amazing cake with a cute picture of 3 brothers. And Haddon got to "cash" in the tickets we all won at the arcade for a Ben 10 toy camera. Unfortately he wasn't feeling so well--all the boys have been battling stomach bugs and fever the past week. But he managed to perk up when we announced after dinner that it was time to play games:)

As a side note...it seems every time we go to this certain mall to play games, Kai has a major blowout! And once again, he did not fail to produce:) The two pictures of him standing on the bench are of him realizing what has just occured in his diaper:) There are also some pictures of the boys at home.
